I was given a two-night free stay, was REALLY looking forward to it because I've heard great things. I called a few hours before I checked in to confirm my stay, the receptionist was polite and confirmed my reservation. Upon check-in (after a five hour drive), they informed me my room was over-booked. How does that happen? They sent us to the Marriott, which was a nice hotel, and told us to "keep calling the next day to see if a room was available." We called, constantly. NEVER heard back. With fear of not having any where to stay, we had to reserve another night, on our own dime, at the Marriott. Still, never heard back. On our final try, they snapped at my husband and said "be patient, the manage will call you"...Still waiting on that call. There was no apologetic tone or anything to makeup for our inconvenience. Margaritaville was cool and the casino was fun.
