Reasonably priced rooms and free parking helped the Tropicana stand out from other strip hotels. Shower head was raised, which is great for those of us over 6 feet tall. Budget priced eateries leave much to be desired, both in food quality and price. Casino floor was rather small, mostly populated by video slots, very few of which were less than 5 years old. Still, the air is less smokey than bigger casinos with higher ceilings, which is pleasant and access to 3 other high profile resorts are easily walkable thanks to sky bridges that avoid all of the strip's traffic. A free, warm chocolate chip cookie at check in was a nice touch too.
