Here now, for another 2 days with 5 days down. Hard Rick Punta Cana is just fantastic. My wife literally just said I can't find anything wrong with it and I agree. Rooms are big and modern with a neat hot tub in the room. Bathrooms have a large dual head shower that I absolutely love. A mix of Spanish language and English languages on the ~70" tv. Service has been prompt and very cordial people who seem to truly appreciate you visiting their country. Great selection of restaurants of just about every cuisine. Our favorite so far has been Zen (hibachi) but each restaurant we have visited has been pretty good. We were worried about the food being all inclusive but it has not been an issue at all. Resort property is huge but the trams that traverse the property are frequent enough to get you from point A to B promptly. The pools are great and numerous and it has been almost full capacity at the resort all week. That being said you would hardly know it as getting chairs etc by the pools has not been an issue. Nor has getting seated at the restaurants. Beach is very pretty and there are plenty of beach chairs to go around. The only issue, which is beyond the resorts control of course, is that it had been windy all week. So ocean access has been very limited but the numerous pools have made up for that. We have been on several excursions from the resort booked through the resort. These are basically contracted out by Hard Rock so they aren't Hard Rock employees. These tours have been enjoyable and give you an opportunity to get out and see what else the DR has to offer. Overall this had been one of the better resort trips I have been on due to the quality of the resort and the staff. Of course we are already talking about coming back, so that's a great sign in itself.
