Totally disgusted that they have discontinued valet parking. This is very disrespectful to elderly and challenged customers who used this service each and every visit. We were told that no Eldorado casino has valet. To this I say that I don't care! What's the old saying, "just because someone else does....."
We were also told that there was handicapped parking available. Has management tried to walk from these handicapped spots in the rain or snow, juggling an umbrella, along with a cane, or using a walker? Have you taken this trip alone in the dimly lit parking lot? Never noticed these problems when we valet parked. Then, if you manage to get into the place, what can you do with your drenched coat or jacket.....you have to keep it on or carry it with you because they have also closed the coat check!
Then there was the 45 minute wait to be seated in the restaurant because, as we were told by the host, they don't have enough wait staff working. We noticed that the entire right side of the restaurant was empty because there were no waiters?
I would think that a company that owns other casinos would be studying the needs of the patrons BEFORE all the changes were made. As it is, we haven't seen any changes that we could put in the improvement column, but many for the opposite side!
I do have to say that the food is still good, so that's a plus!
