My family and I had gone here to celebrate my birthday for a week last year in March, and it was absolutely incredible. The airplane ride was approximately 4 hours from Ontario to Punta Cana, and a 30 minute drive from the bus to the resort. First thing when you get off is a blast of hot air rushing at your face with breathtaking scenery and hot weather!
When we had arrived, the view was amazing! There was a lobby that had a large balcony that faced the outside of the entire resort. Staff were friendly and welcoming! They offered us drinks when we had arrived.
Food was great! A lot of restaurants and buffets to choose from. There was a buffet with large variety and good quality foods for different times, and a great Asian-themed restaurant that had a Hibachi chef cook us some fried rice!
The beach was absolutely amazing! Blue water with soft sand, and pool parties were hosted. Pools were big, no complaint about that.
The excursion was great! We went to La Hacienda, a safari type of excursion with buggy riding, free fall 16 meters, a zip line that allowed you to see the views of the mountain and forestry, and looking at the rural community in the outskirts.
A great resort to have fun with family or friends! Would suggest going with family and a significant other. Expect lots of alcohol too.
