This is a very nice hotel with a few monetary surprises. First of all, the lobby is open and beautiful. There's a coffee and pastry shop in the lobby so it smells amazing every time you enter. The room we had was very nice, with the largest minibar I've ever seen (and decent prices for a minibar, especially for the area). The bed was very comfortable and they had the best shampoo, conditioner, and body gel I've ever smelled or used. We didn't have time to use the pool, but can confirm that the area outside was gorgeous and led straight to the beach. This area will cost you $30 a day even if you don't want to use it. Also, the valet parking is $40 a day and there is no self parking. Additionally the elevators are small, slow, and busy. We took the stairs once, but they lead to a back area where they store held luggage (no extra charge for holding luggage). The location is great, within walking distance of several good restaurants, shops, and a nice outdoor mall. The WiFi is included with the resort fee and the staff was friendly.
