Royal Carribbean freedom vs. MSC Seaside
I tend to play $20k in slots and took my first cruise on MSC. The host went out of his way to introduce me and make me feel special. I was really impressed with the drink service in the casino and the staff. They also volunteered to comp my spa services as well. I was really impressed that they have tiers for their free cruises that went up to a suite. They don't have the limitations that Royal had. I have to say that I was not overly impressed with Royal when I had two times the amount of points needed for a balcony and they only give one certificate and nothing beyond that. (With many limitations for use). The won't comp on board expenses like MSC did so freely. On Royal there is no incentives to getting more than 4800 points. And with MSC matching the cruise status for other benefits...you can't go wrong with MSC. I will definitely be looking to travel on MSC more rather than Royal.
