This is a very cozy, throwback type of diner - complete with enough charming kitsch, old fashioned newspaper menus, jukebox and a gift shop with all sorts of black bear branded items. What makes the Black Bear Diner stand out is the service, outstanding, very warm & personable. Our waitress Cheyenne, couldn't have been more pleasant, attentive and caring about our meal. The food is really delicious from the fried chicken to the brisket to the ribs - big portions with sides. Try to leave without grabbing a pie at the counter! One of our very favorite Reno bites.
