Of course while staying in the Tuscany casino they will direct you to eat at any of their establishments but I will say, you would not be steered wrong here! My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at how GOOD the food was. There have been plenty of times we go places and we say to ourselves “hey that’s not bad for ___(insert excuse/reason why food is good but not great) -
The food was great. The lighting is dim, but it makes it more private. The servers are super professional, and don’t try to be your best friend. Some people might not like that but I will say over the last decade we have seen more and more of servers crossing the line with touching/jokes/sitting down with you while taking your order and it really gets old and doesn’t seem genuine. These servers were there to do their job, and be attentive, and I loved it.
Now let’s talk about the food because I said it was great- it’s sad that you can go to a lot of
High end Italian restaurants and the food is usually on par with Olive Garden- I ordered “Sunday Gravy” and my husband got the “Parmasio” and they were both fantastic. Both sauces were bold with flavor, everything was hot (not under a warmer to keep it hot while waiting for the order to be complete) the meat was perfectly cooked and fresh, not dry and the noodles were cooked to perfection as well. When I bit into my dish it made me feel like a kid again- my grandmother was from Italy and she passed a few years ago, so I really thought I would never have food that hit home again-but it was that good and authentic it reminded me of a really classy, home cooked authentic meal. The only shame with this place is that people could be deterred because it’s inside a casino and not stand alone.
