Extremely attentive service from knowledgeable wait staff, excellent food, with some dishes far exceeding others. My husband had the foie gras and the waygu beef, both of which he said were outstanding. I had the red snapper ceviche, which was to die for, and the crab stuffed egg, also good. For my larger portion I had the seared sea bass, which was actually kind of unflavorful and boring, for what you’d expect here. Husbands wine pairing suggestion was perfect. Our dessert was the chocolate ice cream/mousse and the mango mousse with coconut sorbet, the latter of which was absolutely perfect, although the chocolate was quite good. Overall 5 stars for the exceptional service, and because my husband said the steak was the best he’s ever had, and he has eaten a lot of good steak. Very neat to watch the kitchen prepare your dishes, enjoyed the atmosphere, a nice alternative if you’re feeling more casual than the more formal Robuchon restaurant next door.
