I don't know where to begin. A week prior, my colleague and I went to the management of TAP because we wanted to conduct a business meeting there, then have a breakfast. The parking, location and the use of the private dining room would have made TAP perfect for our meeting. We met with Robert, one of the assistant managers, who said the use of the room on the Wednesday morning for approximately 20 people for breakfast would be no problem. He verified this with the acting manager Aaron. My coworker even received a voicemail confirming the reservation.
She called the Tuesday morning before to confirm (good thing she did). She was first told that she had no reservation. She was then told we could still have the meeting, but it would be in the dining area. Unacceptable! So, when she reiterated that it had been verified that we had use of the room, she was told "that room is not used during the week", and "TAP does not have the staff to accommodate that many people for breakfast".
I then called back, explaining that we had people coming from as far away as the Thumb area, and Monroe, etc., and that we had confirmation of the space. Still nothing other than a weak apology. I supposed they really did not want our business. I would not recommend using this restaurant for any type of event.
