I recently spent 2 nights at St. Eugene having purchased a stay and play package at a golf show. My brother and I stayed in one of their 2 x Queen bed rooms, which was average in decor yet comfortable. We did not stay in the old building but in the newer wing very close to the casino which was great for us as we do enjoy throwing a few cards around. The casino is small, mostly slots, a few table games, no poker room. We played some blackjack and the dealers were very friendly and helpful in discussing strategies to newer players. Breakfast each morning was included in our package, I would recommend eating breakfast at the 19th hole bar and grill over the main building restaurant. We both enjoyed the breakfast food at the 19th hole over the St. Eugene Smokehouse, I would expect their dinner fare to be better, however we did not have another meal there. The breakfast made us hesitant to give it a try. Overall the property and staff are amazing. We experienced great, friendly, customer service at the front desk as well as with wait staff and course starters and marshals. I would stay again, and perhaps try a higher tier room class.
