The hotel front desk staff at this hotel are the most rude customer service representatives that I have ever encountered. We stayed here twice during our trip to Costa Rica. We thought it would be a good experience, based on the fact it is a 4 star hotel. We will never be staying here again. The day shift and night shift front desk employees never smiled during our interactions. They both acted like helping us was a burden to them. When we arrived employees stood around outside and in the lobby, but none of them helped us with our bags as we lugged them up the steep staircase going into the hotel. The front desk employees never said please or thank you. They just demanded information from us (passports, travel vouchers, etc.) in a very aggressive way. I have stayed in 2 star hotels with much better service than this.
