I usually like to go to Subways in New York, and have visited various locations throughout the city. I was decently happy with most of them, although I liked some more than others. Subway being a franchise, service varies from store to store. This was the single worst experience I have ever had at a Subway in New York. The sandwich makers were so under trained. At the one by my house, they do everything perfectly, like cut the bread, add toppings, roll in paper. Here they seemed so lazy. The guy who served me first just tried to give me the wrong cheese. Then after the woman did the rest so bad. She put the lettuce on terrible, then gave me green peppers instead of jalapeños, and put a tomato on my sandwich that had a black mark. I made a very strong mental note to get rid of that tomato before eating my sandwich. They only had one size drink cups. The soda machines did not work properly. The store was so unsanitary, like such as the black mark in the sandwich. It smelled bad. Overall, strongly not recommended. Avoid this store.
