I stayed at this resort for a several days in the beginning of July to end my tour of the Dominican Republic. I wish to speak of one incident that is very unfortunate. First, I will say, I think this resort is amazing. The check-in manager is awesome and did a great job. I had the opportunity to enjoy one of the newly designed Presidential Suites in building 7. It was here that I had 500 euro stolen from my wallet. I reported the incident to management. To make a long story short, nothing was done to compensate me in any way. Not even a complementary massage to help with the stress of this incident. The overnight manager Miguel is friendly and did try and comfort me however could not do anything overnight. The next morning, manager Oscar spoke with me after i requested a manager to my room. He explained that he had no proof and could not do anything. He actually was quite stern and offensive. He could learn a lot from Miguel. Other than this, the facility was amazing and would have been back within 2 months for my mother's birthday. Now I am considering a different resort. It's a shame that absolutely nothing was done to help or compensate. The response from Oscar is driving me away and I think I will not recommend this resort to family or friends at this point.
