Walked in for a birthday meal, what a surprise! Walking around Townsville with no specific dining plan for my birthday spur of the moment we'd thought we would try The Pier. Was a very busy night at The Pier when we walked in, no problem for the very helpful, eager & courteous staff. We sat in the nice lounge area & enjoyed a drink until a table became available, after about 10" we were seated at the best table in the house with a stunning view overlooking the marina and the lights of Townsville. For Dinner we had the seafood platter for 2, WOW what a truly superb meal, this was easily the best dining experience we've ever had in Townsville. Great setting, beautiful meal & extraordinary service from lovely staff.............we"ll definitely be back. Thank you so much.
