Silver Spur Steakhouse

It’s ok. I’ve been stopping in here for years now. It is way out of the way of Vegas so it doesn’t get the traffic. It’s more of a truck stop with a Casino motel. I’ve never stayed in the rooms. The place is old.. hasn’t really been changed much except the fuel area when Flying J took over that part. That was a long and well needed upgrade over the old place. Plenty of truck parking most days before 6-7 pm. Casino is a bit tight on the slots.. IHOP is understaffed and McDonald’s is gone as of the fall of 2018

Stayed overnight at Whiskey Pete's for a festival nearby. Price wise it's cheaper than most hotels but you pay for what you get. Our room cards repeatedly demagnetized and had to continually go the front desk to get new ones. The casino has a very strong cigarette oror. The rooms are newly rennovated but it still feels a bit under par compared to hotels in Vegas. If you're in the Primm valley, you can't go wrong with the price at whiskey Pete's but you can head to Vegas in about 1 hour and have better hotel, entertainment, and dining options.

The woman's bathroom off of the pool at buffalo Bill's was left with fecies every where in a stall the other locked from inside. I let guest services know. 6 hours later it was still the same way. When I let them know again...he fumbled his words looking for an excuse. And try getting another drink while playing GOOD LUCK THEY WORK AT A SNAILS PACE! Unless it's to take your money! There were no wash cloths and the maid had none. You get 1 large 1 small and bath mat for a 4 person room. Ask for more and they said no go to front desk. Beds were fine floors dirty and spots and dirt in the shower. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Quaint casino with a comfortable atmosphere. The noise coming from their speakers was way too loud for my taste.. hearing someone screaming incherantly into a microphone is not something I can stand so we left after 30 minutes. I must be the only one offended by there choice of sounds they play. If it is that bad on my next visit I will have to take Whisky Pete's off my places to visit. I do like the rooms and pool. They have a live band on Friday nights. They play an excellent mix of music.

Stopped here to get gas and charge my car. Free electical car charging is a plus. There's a Bonnie and Clyde museum inside with the actual car they met their end in. It's like a little museum. Had no idea that they had the actual car. There's a shirt that Clyde wore when he met his end. There's also some of their personal items that they carried. News paper articles about the event are also on display. I watched a documentary about the event that was on display there. Bonus there is a bullet proof car on display that Al Capone's gang used with bullet holes in it. Almost surreal that s piece of history is on display. You can get up close and see in detail the cars. I was very happy I stopped by there for a pit stop. Across the street there is an outlet mall where you can shop and get food. Amazing

Rented a room on the way home, just to wait for the traffic to die down. Within minutes my wife and I saw roaches, some dead others still alive. I would not recommend getting a room here.

I typically don’t write reviews, but on this occasion it’s a must! I went on line to book for a one night stay and that’s all I would ever stay at this place. The tub looked dirty, and so did the toilet! My husband convinced me to just stay and as we were getting into bed, there was a black spider under the sheets!!! I was beyond upset and when I went to guest services I was given the run around! I would never recommend staying at whiskey Pete’s! I would of been better off sleeping in my truck! NO STARS!!!

Whiskey Pete's..... Well we'll, what can i say? The first thing that hits you is the smell. It smells like a party that has been going on for way to long. Cigarettes and whiskey. Not the most pleasant scent to start your day. I've only gone to the casino so I can't judge the hotel but it seems they always have plenty of guests. The gambling is decent but I'd have to say the highlight of Whiskey Pete's is the Bonnie and Clyde exhibit. They have the actual car they were killed in and many other interesting tid bits of their short life. I found it fascinating. I'm a little morbid so to see pictures of them dead was an added bonus. No matter the smell or anything else Whiskey Pete's is always a welcome stop on my many trips passing through. I would be upset if anything changed, it's like that old sweater, the one with the holes and a few stains that you just can't get rid of. I'll be stopping there tomorrow. Wish me luck.

We stayed in a remodeled room, it was great! I've been staying at Whiskey Petes for a couple decades as a good halfway point to California. This was my favorite time. They have done a great job on the new rooms. The front desk person, I believe her name was Lexi, was very friendly and helpful. They have a great little museum in the lobby. Great price. Comfortable, clean room.

Room was nicely remodeled. Easy check in, casino is pretty quiet. But.... At 8:30 am some one walked right in our room, no knock, had a key.... Pool opens at 10 .... As we leave to the pool housekeeping chases us down the hall asking if we were leaving.... At the pool.... Slide is down, being repaired, hot tub is hot but jets don't work, all water is very cloudy.... :-( Looks like they are doing things but not there yet.....
