Overview
Riverside Resort Hotel & Casino is located in Laughlin, Nevada, United States, on the Colorado River. Don Laughlin bought the southern tip of Nevada in 1964 (informally called South Pointe). Laughlin operated the 101 Club in Las Vegas. He opened what would become the Riverside Resort which offered all-you-can-eat chicken dinners for 98 cents, 12 slot machines and two live gambling tables, and 8 motel rooms - 4 of which were occupied by Don Laughlin's family. Laughlin wanted to call the community "Riverside" or "Casino" but the Post Office opted for Laughlin.

Hotel room was clean and stocked with all the usual items. A refrigerator was provided free of charge which was nice. The food on the other hand left a lot to be desired and was pricey in my opinion. Poor service at the Mexican restaurant was the breaking point. No refills on drink, had to go and find silverware to eat with while my meal got cold. Probably will not stay there again.

Went to the Prime rib room at this hotel to have the prime rib and buffet bar, and it was great! The buffet bar had a baked potato section that had it all, sour cream, chives, bacon bits, butter, and cheddar cheese. And a salad bar with croutons and veggies with a lot of dressing. Then the Prime rib came, and it was probably the best prime rib I have had yet! It was juicy, seasoned perfectly, and very tender. It also came with a side of mushrooms that I'm not sure exactly what kind they were, but they were extremely flavorful and had great texture. All in all, a great visit, and a must stop location if you are stopping by looking for good casino food!

Got a free weekend stay for donating to charity. This was a awesome and amazing experience. From the beginning to end I was never let down. The place was clean the Ros clean. Heated pool, buffet was delicious, there's a full movie theater inside. And 2 car museum's. Will definitely be back. Thanks for the memories. If i recall we never really left the building, everything was there we needed expect for walking the water. But amazing. Don't forget to sign up for the players club card and you will get free B1G1 dinner vouchers and free slot play. There's a entire section of the building that is smoking free too so no smells was nice. Check out the museum and see Laughlin's history.
